Discovering SEG CIC
SEG is a Community Interest Company (CIC), which means we are legally required (and for all the right reasons) operate for community benefit, not private profit.
We also work with only preferred suppliers to keep costs down thus ensuring we meet our aims with regards reinvestment and support.
Any surplus income SEG makes is reinvested into helping more schools, housing providers, and businesses access renewable energy. Nothing is paid out to private shareholders.
We prioritise projects where the social impact is greatest, such as reducing costs for schools, lowering fuel poverty in housing, or helping businesses invest in greener futures.
SEG brings together government support, community investment, and trading revenues to fund projects. This ensures organisations don’t face upfront costs.
Yes. While the G-Max offer is currently only for schools and businesses, SEG also develops tailored solutions for social housing providers to reduce bills and improve energy efficiency.
SEG was co-founded by leaders in the renewable energy sector and is governed by CIC rules to ensure accountability and transparency.
As we expand, more communities, schools, housing providers, and businesses will gain access to funded renewable energy solutions. Our impact grows with every project.
